It is the final day of the Summer 1 term! It’s been an action-packed half term, particularly for our year 6 children who worked so hard in their SATs last week.

What’s been happening in school?

  • We enjoyed our third Pop-Up bookshop of the year yesterday - each class in school was delivered a box of books by our school librarians for them to look through. Happy reading everyone!

  • Year 6 have had a special visitor in this week. Year 6 have been learning about gang culture, the dangers of being associated with a gang and how they can make the right choices to keep themselves and their families safe. He shared invaluable insights on personal safety and choosing the right path, reminding the year 6 children that they have the power to shape their own positive futures.

  • We enjoyed our afternoon pantomime today of the Railway Children. It was a lovely way to finish our week.
