What’s been happening in school?
-
Year 1 have completed their Phonics Screening Checks this week. We are so proud of all their hard work.

-
The children in Year 4 have taken their Multiplication Check this week. Super times tables knowledge everyone.
-
The children in year 6 have been taking part in their World of Work week! They have been learning about different careers, jobs and thinking about what they might like to do when they are older. A group of children visited a solicitors office on Wednesday. The children also took part in a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style activity on Thursday - we definitely have some future business people among us!
-
The Drama Club held a special performance in the hall this week. It was lovely to see what they have been working on!
Skill Builder

This week’s skill has been teamwork. We have been working hard in school on our transitions around the building using our WALK acronym.
Pop-Up Bookshop
There will be a bookshop for families on Thursday 18th June between 3.15pm and 4pm in the hall. Each child can take home two books each for free!
This week’s book recommendation

‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ is a fantastic book to read with children in Reception, year 1 and year 2. Here is a link to it online:
