I'm Shahina Begum, I am the Academy community pioneer for Co-op Academy Nightingale

I work closely with parents and carers to connect them with charities, advice centres, and community organisations that can offer support, whether it’s financial, educational, or emotional.

As a parent myself, with a son who also attends the academy, I understand how important it is to have a reliable source of guidance and assistance. I am dedicated to being that point of contact, ensuring our families feel supported and empowered.

I also help organise events and initiatives that strengthen our school community and build connections with local support networks.
