What’s been happening in school?

  • A huge well done to our year 6 pupils who have taken their End of Key Stage 2 tests this week in Reading, Grammar and Maths. We are so proud of their efforts and they have enjoyed a well-deserved chill-out day today!

  • Our chicks have started to hatch in Reception this week! The first chick was named John by our children. John has been joined by 9 other chick friends! Children from across school have enjoyed coming and seeing the chicks and eggs. Thank you to Mrs Dodgson-Staines and the Reception team for looking after our eggs and chicks so carefully!

  • This week is Mental Health Week. Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 runs from Monday, May 11 to Sunday, May 17, 2026, focusing on the theme "Take Action" to promote mental wellbeing, reduce stigma, and encourage community support. Why not talk to your child about what they can do when they are feeling sad or stressed?
