We can’t believe next week is the last week before half term!

What’s been happening in school?

  • We had a visit from Ofsted this week. We would like to thank all those parents/carers who took the time to fill out the parent survey. The Ofsted inspectors spent two days in our school looking at lessons, playtimes and the children’s learning. We will be able to share the report with you after half term once it has been finalised.

  • We had a special visit from a YPO van on Friday afternoon! Children from each class were able to choose items of stationary from the van for their classroom. This was part of the NSPCC’s Kindness Challenge. Thank you very much to YPO for our free stationary items!

School Uniform

A reminder that the school uniform policy is as above. Please let us know if you need any support with uniform for your child.

Reading Books

Please send your child to school with their book bag and reading book every day.

This year we are not using a reading record: we are using an online way of recording our reading called Track My Read. Here is the link to the school’s page:

https://trackmyread.org/school/coop-academy-nightingale-180419

If your child has lost or forgotten their log-in details, please let your child’s teacher know.

This week’s book recommendation

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a great book for children in years 3 and 4. It will make you laugh!
