Reception had a wonderful time at Temple Newsam Farm on Friday 1st May.  We have been thinking about the world around us and our topic in Spring 2 was 'Down on the Farm'.  We were lucky enough to meet a brand-new calf which had been born on Friday morning before we arrived and we also saw lots of lambs, goats and piglets.  The goats were very funny, jumping around their pen and coming to see us -  they love to jump around just like us! We had a wonderful sunny day for our trip and finished our farm tour with a picnic in the sunshine and a little visit to the adventure park.
