    #WakeupWednesday

Today is our ‘Wake up Wednesday’. Every Wednesday we’ll share new information related to staying safe online.

This week’s topic focuses on ‘Loneliness Online: What causes it and ways to feel better’. This includes information about group chats, seeing photos of friends having fun and feeling excluded.

“In a recent study, 14% of 10-12-year-olds said they often felt lonely, so you’re not the only one who sometimes feels that way.”

    Published 03/05/22

Year 4 had a wonderfully creative afternoon when they reproduced some Saxon spears using images of historical artefacts to create their design, then constructing the spear with cardboard, foil, cardboard tubes and tape in place of what the Saxons would have used – metal and wood. Today is our ‘Wake up Wednesday’. Every Wednesday we’ll share new information related to staying safe online.

This week’s topic focuses on ‘What parents and carers need to know about Group Chats’. This includes information about cyber bullying, exclusion and isolation, and inappropriate content.
